Honorary Member Award

The SAMLA Honorary Member Award was established as a way to recognize individuals for significant scholarly work and professional contribution to in their respective fields of study. The award is given at the annual convention. The Honorary Members Committee receives the nominations and through recommendation to the SAMLA Executive Committee and then to the SAMLA membership during the annual business meeting, honorary members are selected. The award is presented at the Annual Convention during the SAMLA Evening program. Completed nomination forms, available here, must be received by the SAMLA office by April 1^st to be considered for the following year.
